Brad Olson has been named Scout Executive/CEO of Boy Scouts of America's Voyageurs Area Council in Hermantown, Minn., effective May 1, 2022. Brad began his Scouting career in 2000 as a Camping Executive at the Northern Lights Council in Fargo, N.D. He continued his career in the Northern Lights Council serving as the Senior Camping Executive, District Director, and Program Director respectively until 2017. Kraus-Anderson Construction in Bemidji has hired Isaac Klinke as assistant project manager. Lakeland PBS wins two Eric Sevareid Awards for TV reporting
Bemidji, MN, April 12, 2022 — Lakeland PBS was recently honored with two first-place Eric Sevareid Awards from the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association. Both stories aired on the station’s “Lakeland News” newscasts. A story by Chaz Mootz titled “Northwest Angle Ice Road” earned first-place honors in the General Reporting category.
