Animal Care Team Member
Great River Rescue is hiring! We're looking for 2 part-time Animal Care Team Members. Hours vary from 8am-5:30pm, weekends included.
Job seekers must:
enjoy working with dogs and cats and handling them humanely.work well with other employees, as well as alone.be able to lift and properly handle large animals (up to 100 lbs).be proficient in using computer programs and tablet computers.display good critical thinking skills.have good people skills, as well as animals.be okay with working in conditions of high noise levels, exposure to biological and potentially zoonotic agents, subject to animal dander/bites/scratches, and the potential of working beyond scheduled hours.
