Job Summary

Responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership to assigned region's facility and practice operations. Implements the vision, mission, and strategic plan of clinical services and the system. Assists in the development, planning, and implementation of a system approach to improving and maintaining standards in clinical patient care, patient safety, and health outcomes. Maintains communication and addresses the rapidly changing healthcare environment in which clinical services are delivered across the system. Provides on-site and remote clinical administrative leadership, clinical and technical expertise to clinical and practice operations. Utilizes evidence-based practice in decision-making. Leads patient safety initiatives. Evaluates patient/staff risk events as needed. Provides clinical oversight for development and integration of clinical technologies used in patient care. Responsible for performance, quality improvement and healthcare outcomes and key performance indicators monitoring and evaluation activities.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree in nursing or related healthcare area is preferred.

Three years clinical and/or management experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
