Watermark Opening Reception, Awards, & Workshop "It's Only Clay" Competion and Exhibit

The 18th Annual "It's Only Clay" exhibit is a juried ceramics competition focusing on, and dedicated to, functional clay vessels. Each submission for IOC is judged in four areas: function, form/aesthetic, craftsmanship, and surface design. The "It's Only Clay" exhibit opens Friday, November 3, with a public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Awards and presentations begin at 6 p.m.

In conjunction with the exhibit, 2023 Juror Brad Bachmeier will lead an Alternative Firing Workshop on Saturday, November 4, at Bemidji State University from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop is free but participants must call Watermark to register at (218) 444-7570. Openings are limited.
