Description
The Talley Gallery is pleased to present a collection of works by Minnesota educator and artist, Keren Kroul. The works presented in the gallery are a collection of watercolors that examine identity through memory. Inspired by the brain’s function of collecting, transmitting and storing information, a process that makes us who we are, Ms. Kroul creates intriguing landscapes of the mind. Keren Kroul is a fiscal year 2019 recipient of an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The show and all activities at the gallery are supported by student activity fees (SAFAC) and are free and open to the public. The Talley Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm. A reception will be held on Oct. 7 from 1 - 4 p.m. in the Talley Gallery.
