Description
Northwoods Caregivers, in partnership with the University of Minnesota – Duluth’s Memory Keepers Medical Research Team, is excited to announce an upcoming conference entitled Honoring Elder Wisdom: Living Well with Dementia in Native American Communities. This one-day conference is focused on reaching out to caregivers, all health care providers/professionals and others who want to know more about what’s happening in the Native America population across the country with regard to Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The conference will include speakers from Indian Health Services, UMD Memory Keepers, Canada’s First Nations and more.
