GreenTouch Day at Lake Bemidji State Park

Beltrami Electric Cooperative is calling on volunteers of all ages for GreenTouch, a volunteer event to help prepare Lake Bemidji State Park for its 2023 season. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Lunch break at noon. A grilled picnic lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Description
- Volunteers will help clear hiking trails, rake leaves and pine needles, and pick up litter. Youth groups, service clubs and other organizations are welcome to participate in GreenTouch.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring a pair of work gloves.

If you have a rake you'd like to use, please bring that with you.

You need not be a Beltrami Electric Cooperative member to volunteer.

Volunteers will need to check in at the park office for a free park permit for the day.

Beverages and a grilled picnic lunch will be provided for volunteers.
