Chippewa Triathlon, Canoe, Bike, Run Race, Saturday June 8 2019. Race begins on Cass Lake at Information Center on Hwy 2 - Two miles east of Hwy 2 and 371 intersection
The Triathlon is a unique event that combines canoeing, biking, and running all through the Chippewa National Chippewa National Forest. The course follows the centuries-old Pike Bay connection
14 Mile Canoe Route takes
participants through pristine lakes and portages following the “Pike Bay Connection” located in the
heart of the Chippewa National Forest. The
27 Mile Bike Course weaves through the forest and
around many of the lakes traveled during the canoe leg of the event. The
7 Mile Run completes the
Chippewa Triathlon and ends at the Norway Beach Campground bordering the sugar sand beach of
Cass lake, offering excellent camping accommodations for all ages.
