Bemidji Sings Vocal Competition

Headwaters Music and Arts is excited to hold its annual Bemidji Sings Vocal Competition at 6 pm Monday, August 12 at Advance purchase is recommended, and the doors open at 5:30pm. Come be a part of the enthusiastic and friendly audience and cheer on our talented Bemidji singers as they compete for cash prizes, including the "Peoples' Choice" awards. This year's competitors in the 13-18 division is made up of Leah Scanlan, McKenzie Mike, Anika Binder, Maren Eickman, Makafui Kossivi, Charlie Sherwood, Natalie Corcoran, Sherry Pham and Jeremiah Fowler. The 19 and older contestants include Jane Beretta, Melody Mike, Genevieve Oakes, Chelsea Ottman-Rak, and Jill Mann. Participating in the new 9-12 category is Kazzlyn Lee, Trinity Mike and Joey Mike. This activity is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Bemidji Area Arts Endowment, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation.
