Finances & HR Coordinator

Mission of the Organization:

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

Accounts Receivables, Payables, Payroll, Employee Recruitment, Donor Database Management, Donor Stewardship and Financial Reporting (Approximately 25 hours/week on average)

Volunteer Coordination (Approximately 10 hours/week on average)

General Administrative Support (Approximately 5 hours/week on average)


· Associate's degree in accounting/bookkeeping/business preferred with additional administrative and word processing training, or 2 years of equivalent experience in a progressively responsible administrative position.

· Practical knowledge of professional administrative procedures.

· Effective written communications and neat handwriting.

· Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, ability to work with variety of personalities and be a committed team player.

· Strong attention to detail – accuracy is critical – and quality assurance related to all financial recordings, tracking of payables and receivables to correct revenue and expense categories.

· Proficiency in processing accounts payable/receivable, including filing, receipts & payments.

· Excellent proficiency with computer and related software with an emphasis on Outlook, Google, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Publisher.

· Ability to keyboard rapidly and accurately.

· Exercises high level of confidentiality and sensitivity (to persons and materials), exhibiting discretion.

· Ability to research and find information from the internet.

· Passion for our youth development mission and exhibit a community-minded mindset.

· Knowledge of and experience working with diverse cultures and populations.

Full-time position benefits currently include:
