In the spirit of playing it forward, each child in attendance will receive a free children's book courtesy donations from area businesses and the public.
The poor shoemaker and his wife, on the brink of eviction from their cozy home, donate their last pair of shoes to a poor beggar woman, leaving them just one more chance to turn common leather into shoes in order to pay their bills. After they fall asleep, a group of 5 elves enter and magically transform the leather into an exquisite pair of shoes, a feat they will repeat during the next 3 nights. In the end, each group plays it forward in helping those less fortunate, proving that hard work is the secret to making dreams and wishes come true.
