Extended Viewing Hours held Friday, Nov. 9 through 7:00 p.m.
After its opening in Mahnomen in October, the Anishinaabe Arts Initiative (AAI) exhibit travels to the Region 2 Arts Council office (located inside Watermark Art Center at 505 Bemidji Avenue N, Bemidji). This show exhibits traditional and contemporary artwork by AAI grant recipients, AAI Council members, and other Native American artists who have received, or been a part of, a Region 2 Arts Council grant. The exhibit is open for viewing November 9 – December 8, Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Artwork by 2018 AAI Fellows, Pamela Iceman and Roberta Vanwert, will also form part of a group exhibit at the Watermark Art Center’s Miikanan Gallery that opens November 9th. The Region 2 Arts Council office will offer extended viewing hours for the AAI Exhibit November 9th through 7:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Miikanan Gallery’s opening reception that evening.
