There are many health benefits of being present in nature. You are more likely to be active, you will become more relaxed, your concentration will improve, your risk of heart disease and high blood pressure will be lowered and your vitamin D levels rise.
Experience these benefits as we do a variety of mindfulness activities one of which is a five senses hike along the Rocky Point Interpretive Trail. This dirt trail winds through the maple and basswood forest and has hills and stairs.
Meet in the west picnic area of the park. Wear supportive shoes and bring water.
