Description
Les Sanders will begin the festivities with a Creative Café activity sponsored by Paul Bunyan Communications. For only $10 each, participants will use hands on techniques in creating various textures and patterns on a wooden feather. From 2 until 4 p.m., guests can interact with the visiting showcase artist, sponsored by First National Bank, Stephen Haspel, and his eclectic collection of pop art, much of it digitally produced. Students from Voyageurs Expeditionary School will also be on hand to discuss various art projects on display. Refreshments will be available and door prizes will be given out throughout the day with a grand prize being a rutilated quartz & sterling silver wire pendant created by gallery artist Heather Fadness that will be given away the end of January. No purchase is necessary to enter the drawings but entries are limited to one per person. Gallery artists will also be available during the day to discuss their artwork and answer questions regarding various levels of membership in the gallery. Phone inquiries can be answered at (218) 444-9813 or contact us via email at president@looncountryarts.org.
