Description
Come learn about study abroad funding opportunities for any student! I will be presenting on: Fully-funded and pre-planned opportunities such as: - The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) for undergraduate and graduate students, - The National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) for high school students, - And the Fulbright Program for graduate students. Partially-funded funded opportunities such as: - The Gilman Scholarship for undergraduate students, - The Boren award for undergraduate and graduate students. As well as other amazing student opportunities to go abroad, such as the U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program (USFSIP)! My name is Josibeth Aguilera, I am an alumna of the Critical Language Scholarship and the Gilman Scholarship. I am a student at St. Catherine University in St. Paul and this presentation is part of my Gilman follow-on service project. Anyone is welcome to attend this info session. If you have an application started and you'd like to talk, you are welcome to bring a copy. If you have no clue where to begin planning a trip, I'd be happy to offer advice also. See you on Friday, January 3rd!
