Beltrami Electric Cooperative to host GreenTouch event Thursday, May 8 at Lake Bemidji State Park

Beltrami Electric Cooperative is calling on volunteers of all ages for GreenTouch, a volunteer event to help prepare Lake Bemidji State Park for its 2025 season. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 8, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. 

• Volunteers will help rake leaves pick up tree debris, clean windows of picnic shelter and other buildings, pick up trash, highway cleanup and more.
• Youth groups, service clubs, and other organizations are welcome to participate in GreenTouch.
• You need not be a Beltrami Electric Cooperative member to volunteer.
• Volunteers will need to check in at the park office for a free permit for the park that day.
• A grilled picnic lunch will be provided for volunteers at 6 p.m.
