Bemidji's Global Work Party

Event Description
At Noon-Bring your coffee mug (free coffee) and work gloves and meet at the Paul & Babe Waterfront to take part in:
? A trash clean-up along Lake Bemidji, the Mississippi River, city parks, readying the community garden for next year, brush clean-up for upcoming Bemidji bike trails, and planting tree seedlings in school forests.
From 2:00 ? 5:00 pm-Many local organizations and businesses will be tabling at the waterfront to highlight our community?s sustainability resources.
3:30 pm-An open workshop presented by GReN members for making our homes more energy efficient will be held at the Headwaters Unitarian Church (522 America Ave.).
5:00 pm-Everyone will meet back together at Paul and Babe for a Paul Bunyan sized group photo.
5:30-Mayor Lehmann speaks, 5:40- Chris Waltz, Regional Coordinator of Clean Energy Resource Teams speaks, 5:50 ?State Senator Mary Olson speaks. Stick around for some local music!
