ALL- Why People Don't Like Music

Event Description
We all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to music. But, often we find it difficult to express ourselves as to why a particular selection or genre isn't likable. I will attempt to explain why certain types of music may be "ugly" or "unpleasant" and why composers and librettists pursue musical styles that may be totally unappealing to you and others. Musical examples will be played to help you discriminate between "musics."
